Literally: Have / Is Idiomatically: All right! / Yes! / Cool! / Great! This phrase is the equivalent of the English "Yes!" accompanied by the bending of the elbow and the quick movement backward and downward of the shoulder. If you saw me doing it, you'd know exactly what I'm talking about _ I guess you just had to be there. Cool! It conveniently sounds like "yes" which is good so that when you mix up the phrase in either language, people will just think you have a lisp rather than think that you are stupid. Great! |
