"Bego" (to it) is an Aramaic term often used in conjunction with the word "Devarim" (Ketuvot 111a). Often at a first glance we may miss something in what a person is saying: "Hu yodea, ve-im hu omer az yesh devarim bego" - He knows, and if he says so there must be something to it. Even though that sounds a little sarcastic, the phrase is used like this and not in a facetious manner. As an aside, the word "Mego," meaning "from within" is from the same root as "Bego" and is a common idea in Talmudic law (Shavuot 42a). For those who are familiar with Zemirot Shabbat (Sabbath mealtime songs), there is a popular hymn "Yah Ribon" written by R’ Israel Nagara (1555 Safed- 1628 Gaza). In it he writes "Veyapik yat ameich mego galutah" - and will free your people from within their exile". Amen.
